Enough is Enough. If I Trust, The Universe Will Provide

May 29, 2020  •  7 Comments

Over the past eleven weeks, I’ve noticed my brain easily jumps to; We’re not going to have enough. It doesn’t matter if it's food, money, time or hand-sanitizer—the panic sets in. But then, I think about my secret relationship with my closet. Yeah, that's right, my closet.

My closet and I have a deal: I will trust the closet and it will provide the right shoes. While getting ready I think to myself, I don’t have shoes that are going to go with this outfit...but then I quickly remember, Magic Closet’s got it covered. I can’t explain it, but it works.

I want to lean on that faith in all areas of my life right now. There will be enough. The trick, as I’ve learned from my closet, is to trust.

This week I heard someone say...

I do enough.
I have enough.
I am enough.

Magic Universe, don’t fail me now.

Mags
mheth,
While I hate shopping for everything else, I will go out and grab shoes every 6 months or so.
But remember, I'm in pretty much the same clothes every day and I barely even kick it up a notch if we're going out.
I know I need a sandal I can wear with black, a sandal I can wear with navy. Flip-flops, casual/travel sneakers and work-out sneakers...But I also have a good amount of shoes in the closet from years past because I like old and faded things.
Hmmmm, I guess I can't explain it.
(But I'll come over and help!)

Mom—yer so cute.
Everyone, Mom's doing a great job of getting into those closets and saving them, one by one.
Closets can be very overwhelming.
You're doing a great job Mom, keep up the great work.
(And please, you don't have to trouble yourself by bringing the stuff you don't want over here anymore. We're all set. xoxo)

Julie, can I come to Narnia with you?

Kelly t, thanks for the link and the laughter!

Kate G Mc,
Thank you for the recommendations...I always appreciate hearing about the roads you guide me towards.
It's helps me to remember that all my kids need is my love.
There are children who grow up with nothing, but speak of the love they received from someone who cared as making all the difference in their world.
'Worry' dresses itself up as concern, but all it really does in my life is block my ability to love people.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts Kate. Love you~

It's me Kate G Mc:)

I always wish you'd write more:) Because the momentum of my response of "I know, I know, I agree, YES YES YES!" gets going. And then it's finished. I'm teasing. But Friday's post is a nutshell of this quarantine for me. The Lack. and for me, so much of it is geared towards my family (kids). As in "will I have what i need to protect them". So it gets bad in my head. As you say, from sanitizer to emergency food, to a place to go that's remote. And it IS a trust game, a surrender game. I'm glad you have your closet! I'm working on finding it in The Present Moment. Which is a fascinating exercise, a practice to be learned. It's all cool in the present moment. It's the fear of the future stuff that throws me. I'm doing some study right now with a gal named AUGUST GOLD, who's taking us through some of the Tao Te Ching. I'm going to strongly recommend you look up her recent Tuesday videos she does (on FB and youtube, etc). She's a storyteller, a teacher, an illuminator. I'm always enlightened from having heard her.
Thanks for this post!!!! xoxox
